The Summer Blues.....

Well it has been a busy end of summer here for me. Getting the kids back to school, re-newing my gym membership and just general end of summer stuff. So needless to say I have been a bad blogger lately. No challenges, no blog hopping and (sigh) no creativity.

I amazed by the amount of homework the kids get these days! I have 2 boys, 3rd and 5th grade, and we do about 1-2 hours of homework EVERY night! Besides the 30min of reading they each have to do every night too! I am not looking forward to middle school!

So....just wanted to let everyone know that I will be back to blogging soon!

Happy 4th of July America!

Happy Independence Day

So today is my Birthday....

So today is my birthday and I plan on spending it doing nothing, nada, zip, zilch! My oldest is making me breakfast in bed. He is so sweet, he will be 10 on July 15th. My youngest made me a cute card which I will post later. He loves to craft with me and is 8.


Do most people stop celebrating birthdays once they reach a certain age? Or is everyday a celebration? Does it get worse the older you get? I find that since I had kids my birthday is just another day. A day I happened to be born on but no one stops their day, the world keep revolving. I guess it is all about priorities...my kids come first.


So enjoy your day! And have a piece of cake on me!

Just a note...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I fell and hurt my hand yesterday. My right hand-the one I use to do about everything! And I cant stamp...wah!!

So anyway I wont be posting for a bit until it heals. I will still try and get to everyones blogs to see what you all have been up too!

More problems

Well I still can't post pictures using Blogger. And I am at my wits end. I haven't made any cards these last few days cuz I have been spinning my wheels on fixing this problem. Does anyone have a different way they post their pictures? Or any other ideas on how to correct this?

Spring Break......for the kids!

Well this week is Spring Break for my kids. That means I wont have alot of time for card making! I am hoping to get a few challenge in though. And of course visit my SBS sisters blogs!

Whew....what a busy couple of weeks!

Well I have been "offline" for a few weeks. Life has been getting in the way of my card making!

My youngest he had his 8th birthday on Sunday Mar 16th - he was actually born on St.Paddys day. So we had a little get together at grandmas.
The friday before he took a friend from school and we went to see "Horton hears a Who". I loved the movie...it was very funny...a must see if you have kids!

Here is my little "baby" with my sisters dog. He loves to care him around....and I have to say the dog loves it too!

Then the next thing I knew Easter was upon us. I had it at my house....so cleaning was on the menu...lol. Dinner, Easter egg hunt..it was great fun!

So I should be back to posting again soon..
