Double Challenge - Arty Girlz & Friday Sketchers

Combine challenges on this card. Used the theme of "blue" from Arty Girlz and a neat sketch from Friday Sketchers.
Used my Hero Art stamp set (forgot what its called-Bird something or other!). Colored with pens and used my new favorite glitter pen on the wings, tail feathers and head feather. Matted the image and sentiment with metallic blue cs. And mounted on the card with 3-d dots.

Thanks for stopping by!

Arty Girlz Challenge - Era

At Arty Girlz this weeks challenge is Era's so you could be inspired by the chic 20's glamourous 30's the war year's of the 40's, 50's Rock & Roll , psychedelic 60's or the flower power 70's you get the idea..... any era you like it is entirely up to you!

I chose the Flower Power 70's! I had some images already stamped from Stampin Up. Not sure of the set name. But it is flower power! I had rainbow stamped it with turquoise, purple and green. So used that color theme for my cardstock and embellishments.

thanks for stopping by.

Travel 2 challenges....

There are 2 challenge sites that has the theme of "Travel". Arty Girlz and Cute card Thursday.

I really don't have any travel stamps or papers or images or anything! But I did have this cute little stamp set that has a cute rocket ship and a neat saying of " You're out of this world" so I thought close enough(I hope!!). In any case here is my card! Stamp set is by Studio G and cardstock is DCWV.

This layout is a sketch that Taylored Expressions used awhile back on one of her challenge. I loved it so thought I would use it for this card too!

Arty Girlz Challenge - Black & White

This weeks challenge over at Arty Girlz is "Black and White".

For my card used sparkly black and white cs from DCWV. Can't really tell but the circles and the stars on the black cs is all glittery. Its very cool in person. I used black ribbon from Offray. Stamps from Stampin Up-Stars & Swirls and Studio G. I used White ink for the swirls and black in for the sentiment. Finally a silver star from Colorbok embellishments.

I was actually suprised I had all this black and white stuff! I think I might make another...It is kinda neat looking. Maybe add a red button or a bright yellow brad. Just one little "bright" spot on the card would look cool.

Cute Card Challenge #2 and Arty Girlz Challenge #27

The theme for the Cute Card challenge is Creatures Great and Small. And I am making this a dual challenge card. So for the Arty Girlz challenge it is to use "chocolate" on your creation.

I decided to use chocolate and pink paper(one of my fav color combo!).

I used my spotted puppy stamp from Hook's Lines & Inkers. And the Thank you stamp from Hero Arts. I colored the puppy with colored pencils-I used brown(which I think qualifies as chocolate!). And used ink pen for the heart. I wanted it to stand out a bit more than the puppy. Stamped the sentiment with pink ink from SU. And then finished it with a few adhesive dots.

Arty Girlz Challenge - Stars

For this challenge I wanted to use some different colors than I usually use(pink). So I really like how turquoise and browns look together. I also had a background paper that had stars and these colors on them. Used my cricut to cut out the stars and the sentiment "way to go". And no stamps.....hmmmm. Didn't plan that one!

Cardstock: Background is from DaisyBucket design. The paper is called Star Kissed collection. The plain cardstock is just some I had around(probably from local craft store) and then added a couple pretties.

Arty Girlz Challenge - SPRING!!

Spring is wonderful...flower buds, green leaves, baby animals and outdoor walks.

I couldnt decide how I wanted to express it so I ended up with this.

I just love this little bicycle stamp its from Great Impressions( a local place here in Washington).

Check out all the great challenges from Arty Girlz.

Cardstock is called "Hopscotch" from K&Company. I used some flower brads to pop the flowers in the basket. and used my cricut machine and cut out the word "spring". And ran a little fluffy ribbon along the side.
